DIY Wedding Invitations

Okay, the date is set and that is why I've been so busy and not been able to blog a lot. But I just wanted to share with you that I'm getting married!! Yay!!

Fiancé and me are getting hitched on May 15 this year. Soon, right? And there's so much to do!!
But today I wanted to share with you my DIY'd wedding invitations! I'm kind of proud ^_^

This is it! It's a fold-out-booklet you have to pull out a burlap pocket (self-sewn might I add :P ), with a personal gift, a souvenir fiancé and me picked up in Thailand last holiday.

Back from Vacation!

Hello Bonjour!

How have you been? I have been on vacation the last couple of weeks! Where to do you ask? To visit my parents in Calgary, Canada; then roadtripping Canada and North America! And I have to tell you, it was awesome! And today I'm sharing some of the amazing things we've seen :)

So this is the route we took. We drove a lot of miles, but it was less than our last route66 roadtrip, two years ago. We just love roadtripping!

Here's a view just along the highway beautiful Canada. I can't tell you how much picture-perfect views we've seen in our first week!

Pretty Yellows..

Happy April! Looks like the flowers know that Easter is a-coming!  Fiance gifted me a new camera to take pictures with! I'm such a lucky girl.. I took these pictures in the garden of my to-be-parents-in-law. Aren't those pretty yellows? 

 

 

Today I hung my laundry outside to dry, the weather is crazy over here! I thought this would also be a lovely item on my Spring Bucket List, so I added it! In Spring Spirits

Hello you. How has your weekend been so far? It's been unseasonably warm for the last couple of days, so it seems everybody in the Netherlands seems to be in Spring spirits (mind you, we usually are enjoying snow and rain this time of year)!

 

Fiance and me decided to grab a coffee at the beach. Behind the windscreens, we were able to soak up some sun.. I can already tick that off my Spring Bucket List!

Furry babies grow up so fast! Nala sure has grown in the past 4months! Let's compare shall we? Two pictures of her in the same bed:

Scrappy, Smashy Love

Until now I had only 'scrapbooked' our holiday pictures, but my mother-in-law gave me this lovely diary from Happinez.

 

It's already filled with some lovely quotes and pictures, so it's very inviting to fill it with more quotes and pictures, drawings and doodles, etc!

I am always intimidated by the wonderful scrapbook creations I see on internet, but I've decided to treat this diary more as a scrappy smashbook, where I can just smash it all in..

I also got this LG PoPo (Pocket Photo Printer) for Christmas. It connects with your Phone through bluetooth, you can adjust the picture (add borders, filters etc.) and you can print out lovely small pictures immediately!

Below pages show what my head felt like the past 2weeks.. chaotic but happy...
