Hey, how was your Valentines?

How was your Valentines ladies and gents?

We actually ended up tasting yummy goodies for our wedding!

To be honest, we don't have the slightest idea what our wedding cake should taste like / look like! So we visited a couple of shops, to get an impression.

Hello, gorgeous!

mmmmm yummy goodness..

We now have an appointment at one of the shops, yay! But this much deliciousness on Valentines.. Sweet, yummy cake and chocolate.. What more could a girl ask for? ;-)

Rembrandtpark Festival, Amsterdam

Hi you! Did you miss me? I'm sorry I've been AWOL for the last two weeks, but here I am again! Time can fly when you're busy, right? Let me show you what I've been up to!

Last week I had a craft fair in Rembrandtpark.

We were so lucky with the weather, as it had been postponed one week due to the rain.. Can you see the sun shining while I'm setting up?

Hello you! Here in Amsterdam, the weather has been great (meaning lovely sunny and warm) for the last couple of weeks.. So it was a surprise to wake up this morning to a dark, gloomy, rainy day..

Here's a picture taken just a few streets from my house today! Yep.. That's usally the road!

Lovely Little Things

We've had very strange weather lately.

At first it was raining and cold (16° Celsius), then the tempature spiked up to 30° only in one day, and the day after we had a weather alarm! We had a thunderstorm last night and today it's windy and grey again with 16°!  Brrrr.

But when I opened my curtains today, I had to smile. My little trees are in bloom again!

Every winter I have to put them inside otherwise I'll freeze to death, but I'm never sure they make it. This is the 3rd year they survived! (that's a lot for me since they're also the first plants that survived - ever!)

Bless those lovely little things!
