Now in the Netherlands, supermarkets only mostly sell foodstuffs and toiletries.. So can you imagine my amazement when I walked into Walmart and saw a whole aisle of yarn! I think I shrieked of excitement! And I know fiancé went "oh this is bad" in his head.
So lemme show you what this girl bought!
First off, a whole lot yarn! Another thing about living in the Netherlands is.. having completely different yarns available than in the US. I always read on blogs about Red Heart, Caron and Bernat.. And I have tried to order thosebrands online, but the price would be $6 and up for one skein and I would have to pay shipping costs.. Again.. Can you imagine my excitement to see these brands for $2 a skein?
Some wonderful colors for amigurumi projects..
I found double pointed needles! Yay! I had given up on finding them.. and there they were! I can't wait to try those!
Then some embroidery yarn.. And an iphone case you can embroider yourself! So cool!
And last but not least, a bunch of scrapbooking stuff, for when I finally turn our holiday pictures into a vacation scrapbook!!
So there you have it.. I guess it's no surprise that my suitcase was very, very full on the way home!
Have a lovely day!
So if you run out and want more, we can always do a trade...I've done that with people in Germany....I also have tubs and tubs filled with the stuff that I don't really use much, except for amigurami....
