I got some crocheting done this week, yet nothing on the YoP front, unfortunately.. I made a baby blanket, I love making these while sitting in front of the TV, so relaxing..
And of course Puppy.. I had to pay attention while making him!
I almost forgot, I did start something from my YoP list! The Yellow Scarf project.. Only in my case it will be a orange/salmon scarf.. I had some really soft leftover yarn which I will use for this project.. I hope I can show you some pictures next week..
And I finally updated my list again.. It's here if you want to have a looksie.. Kepanie reminded me that it's time to start thinking about Christmas presents.. I love how organized she is! I think some items of my list will be pushed to next years list as Christmas presents.. Have you already started thinking about Christmas presents?
Have a lovely week!
I already have a tree skirt made for a Christmas present!! I may make another one or two... Haven't decided. But now is exactly the perfect time for planning. Especially since the Christmas variegated handcrafted cotton by bernat is in the stores.... I may find myself making more lists this week... I have a goal of having an almost totally handmade Christmas this year.... That would be so awesome.
ReplyDeleteThat's one great goal! I'm sure you'll make it, as you already have at least one present already done! I remember your awesome tree skirt! That is a great present indeed!
DeleteI've started thinking about them, but am being quite selfish in the knitting department right now!! I love the puppy and baby blanket :-)
ReplyDeleteOh what a cute puppy! And the blanket looks snuggly too :)
ReplyDeletePuppy! He's great.
ReplyDeleteYes, I've started planning Christmas presents. But I try to make everyone on my list at least one pair of hand knit socks for either a birthday or Christmas, so that takes a bit of planning and forethought. That being said, as I knit 20-30 pairs a year, it makes sense to put names to them early and knit the correct size :)
Knitting 20-30 sock pairs a year, that's amazing! I still have my first pair to make.. someday! ;-)
DeleteAw. Thank you for the shout out. I'm doing well on the first gift. It helps to covalence.
ReplyDeleteThe blanket is sweet. The dioxide makes me smile. I'm sorry you've been having sleepless nights. I have those sometimes. It wrecks such havoc on a body. I hope you're able to catch up on zzzs soon.
I hardly ever look at my list...I just make what I feel like..sometimes it's on the list...many times it is not..oh puppy is so adorable!
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear I'm not the only one ;-) Thanks Tammy!
DeleteSo sorry to hear you can't sleep. Hot cocoa, don't eat 2 hours before you go to bed, a walk after supper, meditation...journaling. I am blessed to never have a problem sleeping as many my age do.
ReplyDeleteI love your baby blanket...is there a pattern? Your projects always have such a soft, cozy look to them. And what's not to love about the puppy! Adorable! Have a great week! And don't worry...it's a total waste of energy. Like Pharell Williams sings......Be Happy!
Lovely crochet, a sweet blanket and such a cute puppy! I hope you sleep better tonight!
